For centuries Venice was the gateway to the Orient, a point of exchange between East and West. Rialto was the centre of this magnificent city, a meeting point of aromas, flavours, people and cultures.
This was the location of the naranzaria, the ancient warehouse where citrus fruits were stored.
Now there is Naranzaria, a secluded corner on the Grand Canal where the pleasures and warmth of the osteria meet with the Mediterranean freshness of couscous, and the typical flavours of the hinterland of the Serene Republic such as the salami from Friuli and the wines of the Veneto. This is the essence of Naranzaria: to make Venice the meeting point of aromas, flavours, people and cultures...
